Hello Dirk Paul Schaffstaedter

Thank you for visiting our website. I congratulate you on your excellent English.
I am myself very familiar with Germany; having lived in a small town called Muhltal near Darmstadt for approximately 7 years.

I do not know how deep your knowledge of Willett 400 series goes.....So I will start from basics:-

Please conduct further communication through our e-mail address inkjets@codingandhandling.co.uk

1.) Have you carried out a nozzle flush routine ? it sounds like the modulation break-up or droplet formation is bad (this is why you are experiencing CHARGE ERROR

I would carry out a Series of at least TWO Nozzle flushes, firing a jet of solvent onto the front face of the nozzle using your wash bottle, this procedure must continue for a minimum of 1 minute per flush.
After this procedure ENSURE that all print head components are completely CLEAN & DRY and free of all solvent residue.

Disable the Charge check routine (this will stop the Willett tripping out on CHARGE ERROR) this will then enable you to do a AUTO MODULATION ROUTINE (Auto Modulate)

Make a note of the current Modulation Setting before carrying out an Auto Modulate......After Auto Modulation make a note of the New Setting and try a test print.

If you are still having problems Please feel free to E-mail me at inkjets@codingandhandling.co.uk or Telephone my office +44 (0) 1536-721026 ask for Paul.

Good Luck

Paul.

Dear Gentlemen (please excuse my bad English),

I´m very glad having found your website, especially the pictures of a dismantled Willett printer which look a lot like my workshop when I tried to overhaul a Willett 460Si (even the ink spots at the wall look a lot like the ones in my workshop...). Well, I´ve been successfull to run this printer, but I face following problem: The first three to four print-outs (only my company name) are o.k., but then the next print-out is getting blurred, and finally the printer is showing the flash between two dashes and claiming "charge failure". After restarting the printer the "game" starts from beginning: some good print-outs, then the blurred text and finally the flash symbol.

Do you have any idea what might be the reason? Are there any charging problems, maybe a missing grounding?

It would be great if you can help me, many thanks in advance!

Kind regards,

Paul

Hello Traci......Thank you for your kind comments.
Unfortunately I do not know of any other similar blog sites or article writers. To be perfectly honest my time is minimal and I only write these things because my SEO manager keeps hassling me for more material. He wants me to set up a website/blogsite thing where myself and other people can post their stuff....I will let you know if this ever materializes .....Have you tried Google searching Blog Site/Article writing forums ???

Best regards Paul... paulmanning666@hotmail.com

Hello Richard
Thank you for your enquiry.

Its always best to e-mail us directly inkjets@codingandhandling.co.uk

To give you an idea on cost reconditioned systems and exdemo machines start at around £2,500 rising to £3,850 depending on specification and model type....this obviously depends on availability as these systems are in and out on a regular basis.
We have brand new systems starting from £3,000 rising to £6,000 again spec dependant.
If you would like to e-mail at the above address with more specific details of product, speed, environmental conditions, does the line stop and start...speed up and slow down during your process etc.

Its always good to have a chat before making any decisions.

Best regards
